Hypertension Lesson 3 - High Risk Factors Back to Hypertension Channel
So there you have it myths dispelled and information given some people are more susceptible to "the silent killer" than others. However, one certain truth should stick in your head over all else NO ONE is immune to the possibility of hypertension. There is no vaccine to prevent it, there is no drug that can cure it, and there is no promise that if you make the correct choices in your diet and exercise regimens that you can avoid it. However, you CAN stay informed about your cardiovascular health, which gives you the opportunity to try your best at preventing the development of hypertension. Furthermore, should you be diagnosed with this condition, there ARE simple and effective ways to control it. Of course, at this point you're half way through Hypertension 101, which means you already knew that! Assignment #2
