What is Asthma?



Asthma is a respiratory disorder characterized by wheezing, shortness of breath and tightness in the chest. In most cases, asthma results in response to environmental triggers that cause an allergic reaction. Because it is a chronic condition, asthma often requires daily that incorporates avoiding allergens and taking medication through an inhaler.
