Assignment #2
Now that you've had a big ole' shot of diet and exercise information, let's try that quiz again. |
Assignment #3
Keep a food diary. It can be really difficult to change your eating habits. Sometimes people sort of graze in the kitchen or snack in front of the television without realizing it. Then, when the pounds fail to come off, or your blood pressure reading stays dangerously put, you don't understand why your diet isn't working for you. That can be both frustrating and discouraging. Print out this handy food diary to help you keep track of exactly when, where, and what you eat for one entire week. At the end of the week, you'll be able to identify some of the negative eating patterns you have, and do your best to change them.
Assignment #4
Relaxation is an important part of a healthy life. Read the savvyHEALTH article on transcendental meditation, and see what you think!
Coming Up: Lesson #5 Hypertension Medications
Now that you've got down some of the things you can do in your diet and exercise regimens to help your hypertension, let's see what kind of medications your doctor could prescribe to help you control your high blood pressure. See you there!
